Radius ("we", "our", or "us") is a sports venue booking platform that helps players discover and book sports facilities near them, and helps venue owners manage bookings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using the Radius app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Phone number — used to create and verify your account via OTP.
- Display name — shown on your profile and bookings.
- Profile photo — optional, uploaded from your camera or gallery.
- Venue details (partners only) — name, address, sport types, photos, and slot schedules.
Information generated through use:
- Booking records — venue, date, time, sport type, and booking status.
- Payment information — processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store card or UPI details.
- Notifications — your device token for push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
Information collected automatically:
- Usage analytics — screen views and app interactions, collected anonymously via Firebase Analytics.
- Crash reports — device model, OS version, and stack traces via Firebase Crashlytics. No personal data is included.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and authenticate your account.
- To process and manage venue bookings.
- To send booking confirmations and relevant notifications.
- To let venue partners manage their listings, slots, and bookings.
- To improve app performance and fix crashes.
We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase Authentication — phone number OTP sign-in. (Google Privacy Policy)
- Cloud Firestore — stores user profiles, venues, slots, and bookings.
- Firebase Storage — stores profile and venue photos.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — sends push notifications.
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage analytics.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting.
- Razorpay — payment processing. (Razorpay Privacy Policy)
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure, protected by industry-standard security measures. Access to Firestore data is restricted by security rules so that users can only read and write their own records.
All communication between the app and our servers occurs over HTTPS. We do not store any payment card or UPI information — all payments are handled by Razorpay.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for a minimum of 12 months for record-keeping purposes. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Permissions We Request
- Camera — to let you take photos for your profile or venue listing.
- Photo library / Media images — to let you upload existing photos.
- Notifications — to send booking confirmations and updates. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
Radius is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of push notifications via your device settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
